  1. Purpose

The purpose of this health and safety document is to outline the policies and procedures that Por Ultimo LTD adheres to in order to ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all employees, contractors, and stakeholders involved in our video and audio production activities. This document aims to promote a safe working environment, prevent accidents and injuries, and comply with relevant health and safety regulations.

  1. Responsibilities

2.1 Management

  • Top management is responsible for establishing and maintaining a safe working environment, providing necessary resources, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Management will appoint a designated Health and Safety Officer to oversee health and safety matters.

2.2 Employees and Contractors

  • All employees and contractors are responsible for their own safety and that of others by following established health and safety protocols, reporting hazards or incidents, and participating in relevant training and information sessions.
  1. Risk Assessment and Management

3.1 Hazard Identification

  • Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential hazards associated with our production activities, including but not limited to:
  • Use of electrical equipment and cables
  • Handling of heavy equipment and props
  • Work at heights
  • Noise exposure
  • Exposure to hazardous substances (if applicable)
  • Driving and transportation risks
  • Ergonomic hazards associated with prolonged desk work or editing activities
  • Outdoor production hazards (e.g., weather conditions, terrain)

3.2 Risk Management

  • Implement appropriate control measures to mitigate identified risks, including:
  • Providing necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensuring its proper use and maintenance.
  • Ensuring equipment and machinery are regularly inspected, maintained, and safe to use.
  • Establishing safe work procedures and ensuring they are communicated and followed.
  • Conducting training sessions on specific risks and safe practices.
  • Monitoring compliance with safety procedures and addressing non-compliance promptly.
  • Providing a safe and healthy working environment, including adequate ventilation, lighting, and ergonomic workstations.
  • Ensuring the availability of first aid kits, emergency contact information, and evacuation plans.

4.1 Incident Reporting

  • All employees and contractors must report any accidents, incidents, or near misses immediately to their supervisor or the designated Health and Safety Officer.
  • Maintain a record of all incidents, investigate their causes, and take corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

4.2 Emergency Procedures

  • Establish clear emergency procedures, including evacuation routes, assembly points, and communication protocols.
  • Conduct regular emergency drills to ensure that employees are familiar with the procedures.
  • Provide information on emergency contact numbers and ensure their accessibility.

  • Conduct regular health and safety training sessions for all employees and contractors, covering relevant topics such as:
  • Safe use of equipment and machinery
  • Hazard identification and control measures
  • Emergency procedures
  • Manual handling techniques
  • Ergonomic practices
  • Communicate health and safety policies and procedures to all employees and contractors, ensuring they are easily accessible and understood.
  • Encourage open communication channels for reporting hazards, incidents, or safety concerns.
  1. Compliance and Continuous Improvement
  • Regularly review and update this health and safety document to reflect changes in legislation, industry standards, and company practices.
  • Conduct audits and inspections to assess compliance with health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Actively seek feedback from employees and contractors to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
